The Hopfengarten Cup Run in the south of Magdeburg is being organized for the 44th time this year by HSV Medizin Magdeburg and is one of the most traditional fun runs in Saxony-Anhalt. The races over 800 m, 2.4 km, 5.1 km, and 10.1 km take place through the picturesque residential area of Hopfengarten. Residents cheer and provide cool refreshments, while at the finish line, drinks, fruit, and sandwiches are available for all "finishers." Additionally, numerous trophy presentations take place in front of the sponsor board.
